A quiet, sensitive boy, seven-year-old Abdulkarim is an only child who says he would love to have a brother to play with one day. His mother left him with his father who in turn dropped him off with an aunt. Abandoned by both his parents, it’s not uncommon to find him sitting alone at Camp Joshua but we have faith that he will come to see the other children as the brothers and sisters one day soon. For now, he loves greeting the cows that are kept at Camp Joshua to provide the younger children with milk because cows are his favorite anilmals. Maybe his future will be in farming but for now it’s too early to tell.
