Alice

Arriving at Camp Joshua in January of 2024, five-year old Alice’s life has already been a difficult journey. She is one of eleven children with three sisters and seven brothers. She lost her father at only six-months-old and her mother is HIV positive, making it difficult for her to care for young Alice. Still, she dreams of becoming a teacher one day and her favorite animal is the lion. Alice’s favorite days at Camp Joshua are the special occasions when chips (french fries) are served in the dinighall – her favorite!
