Eight-year-old, Godson, is the oldest of three children living with his mother and stepfather in Arusha. His mother lost her job and has been getting by selling corn in the streets. His own father was not interested in him so he came to Camp Joshua, where he receives three hot meals a day, a warm bed and an education. While LOHADA’s hope is to reunite children with their families, it is also happy to step in for as long as needed, even through college, if that can not be accomplished.
