Rehema likes to read and eat french fries. But she comes from a very poor family, with a disabled father and lots of brothers and sisters. In a country like Tanzania, life can be especially hard for kids like Rehema.
Being at LOHADA Centers allows her to attend a good school, fee-free. It allows her ample food, clothing and mentorship from teachers and “mamas.” And while she still spends time with her family, Rehema has been given the opportunity to reach beyond the circumstances she was born into.
