Israel is a born storyteller and loves to tell stories to the other kids at Camp Joshua. Many kids here love being surrounded by so many other children but for Israel, one of eleven children in his family, it’s similar to being at home. With six brothers and four sisters, Israel’s mother has had her hands full ever since his dad passed away when he was only five years old. Living at Camp Joshua along with a few of his younger siblings has allowed his mother some much-needed support and assures that Israel, along with his siblings get a good education as well as three meals a day. When he grows up, he would like to be a policeman and help his mom out.
